The TS 140X is best at being one machine for a whole property: mowing 2 to 4 acres, then pulling the sweeper, spreader, aerator or cart. A lawn tractor steers with a steering wheel through the front wheels, and a hydrostatic transmission changes speed with a foot pedal instead of gears, so you never clutch to slow down around a tree.

• Width for acreage. The 54 inch 3-blade deck covers about 1.7 acres per hour at a typical 4.5 mph mowing pace.
• Predictable steering. Front-wheel steering is easier for occasional drivers and more predictable on gentle slopes than lap bars.
